The building that La crescenta factory is both timeless and unique. Built in 1950 by Japanese Architecture and designd by David kang and James Lee, it was initially conceived as a mixed-use space with shops on the ground floor and office space above surrounding an idyllic tiled courtyard.
라크라센타 건물은 세월이 흘러도 변치 않을, 독특한 매력을 지닌 공간입니다. 1950년대 일본 건축가가 지은 건물이 David Kang과 James Lee의 현대적인 감성과 만나 지금의 모습을 갖추게 되었습니다. 오래 되었지만 단순히 낡은 건물이 아닌, 분주하게 사람들이 오가는 '살아 있는' 공간으로 재탄생 하였습니다.
The printing factory closed in 2015, and the building was updated yet again to make way for La Crescenta though this time, the primary aim of the design was to strip layers away--down to the original brick, tile and ironwork--and return the space to the airy, open feel of the original construction.
2015년, 원래의 제지공장이 문을 닫은 후 이 매력적인 건물은 또 다시 라크라센타로 변화하였습니다. 러프하고 빈티지한 자연스러운 벽돌의 내/외부는 그대로 살리고 초록 식물들을 많이 배치하여, 보다 편안하고 따뜻한, 그리고 여유로운 공간을 만들었습니다.
